On Saturday, April 9, Japan Society will be having a benefit concert for Japan. The event will be from 9am to 11pm. A wide variety of events will take place on that day with music from a variety of musicians (including award-winning musician, Ryuichi Sakamoto) & several arts & crafts workshops.
The general entrance fee for the entire 12-hour event will be $5. Stop by, donate, and enjoy some great entertainment this Saturday!
Another concert coming up on Tuesday, April 19 will be the “Harlem For Japan” Benefit Concert, organized by the New Heritage Theatre Group. It will take place at the CUNY City College campus at the Aaron Davis Hall on 133rd St. & Convent Avenue. A wide variety of jazz musicians, dancers, orchestras, R&B artists, and artists from Japan will be performing that day.
