New York Anime Festival is this weekend! Is everyone excited? Samurai Beat Radio sure is.

There’s going to be a lot of panels/screenings to check out! Lots of merchandise! Musical guests! Oh yeah, New York Comic-Con will take place at the same time. Good times for all!

As you know, Samurai Beat Radio will be having a panel with Purple Sky Magazine entitled “Pitching Japanese Music to American Media” this Saturday at the convention. If you are interested in other music-related panels at the convention, here are a few suggestions on what to check out.

There aren’t any music-related panels on this day, but the Far East to East Showcase feat. Puffy AmiYumi, Boom Boom Satellites, Zazen Boys, & Echostream will be at Irving Plaza, NYC on this day after the convention is over. Doors open at 5:30pm. You can get tickets here.

SBR is also working on interviewing a number of guests at the convention as well.
