Oblivion Island to Premiere at New York Int’l Children’s Film Festival (NYICFF)
Oblivion Island is a computer animated feature made by Production I.G. and directed by Shinsuke Sato. It will make its U.S. premiere at the New York International Children’s Film Festival. (NYICFF)
Ever wondered where your childhood toys and household items have disappeared too, including your missing left sock? Well, Oblivion Island has the answer. Whether or not you like the animation style, what makes this movie great is its strong story line and character depth which children will love, especially Cotton, a stuffed toy that was brought to life. The story follows a girl named Haruka as she discovers a world where all childhood keepsakes and memorabilia go. There she runs into incredible creatures and experiences a whirlwind of an adventure, and non-stop action.
It is a film not to be missed.
Show times are Saturday, February 27 & March 6
