Hey fans, J-rock superstar MIYAVI recently stopped by Kinokuniya Bookstore in NY to do an interview with our good friend, Diva Velez of the Diva Review. It was a nice small gathering, with a good number of MIYAVI fans. He also performed an acoustic song for the audience! Here are some more photos from the event.

It would be great if more Japanese artists can come by and do more events such as this. These events provide the fans intimate access to the artists that they might not receive otherwise. Also, it helps to build a bigger and more vibrant J-Music community. It’s important to create a buzz about Japanese music artists here in the U.S., so that more artists/record companies/management would think that it’s worth traveling across the Pacific Ocean to come to our town. Much props to the Diva Crew and Diva Velez for organizing a wonderful event!
